Never do business with people who lack maturity or don’t understand the basics of business. The danger is not always visible on day one. The real trouble starts later—when you can’t move forward, can’t easily walk away, and find yourself spending your time, energy and peace of mind dealing with problems you never needed to have.
That’s why, in the film industry, choosing the people is as important as choosing the project.
Not every offer is an opportunity.
Not every handshake deserves a deal.
Not every person who wants to enter your film deserves a place in your journey.
Film is a battlefield. You need guts to enter the field, conviction to stay in the game, and wisdom to know who should stand beside you when the battle begins.
