Risk Is Life

We spend a lot of our lives trying to avoid risk.

We want certainty.
Security.
A predictable tomorrow.

But life doesn't work that way.

Every meaningful decision carries some risk. Starting again. Loving someone. Leaving something behind. Following a dream. Choosing an unfamiliar path.

Risk is life.

Sometimes we don't choose the risk. Life chooses it for us.

And then we are forced to embrace what we once tried to avoid.

Perhaps that's not always a bad thing.

Because when we stop resisting, something changes.

Fear slowly becomes acceptance.
Acceptance becomes courage.
And sometimes, embracing the unknown leads to something we never expected.

Love.

Maybe that's the strange beauty of life...

What we are forced to embrace
may eventually become
what we learn to love.
