Hi,

I am Manohar Chimmani, a Nandi Award–winning Writer, Film Director, and Blogger.

I am a Life Member of the Telugu Film Directors’ Association (TFDA) and the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce (TFCC).

I serve as the CEO of Manutime Movie Mission, focused on Gen-Z, renegade film production, and as the MD of Swarnasudha Projects Private Limited, a real estate company specializing in farmlands and farm plots.

My Journey

From humble beginnings as a machinist to becoming an award-winning writer and filmmaker, my journey has been driven by curiosity, discipline, and a deep commitment to storytelling.

• Academic Achievements: Two Gold Medals in postgraduate studies (M.A., M.L.I.Sc.) from Osmania University, Hyderabad

• Languages & Studies: Advanced Diploma in Russian, securing first rank in my batch at Osmania University; postgraduate diplomas in Journalism and Advertising & Marketing Management

• Professional Experience: Worked for nearly two decades with central government organizations, including HMT, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (Maddirala, Guntur), and All India Radio FM (Kurnool)

• Current Focus: Full-time Film Director and Freelance Writer

The Writer in Me

Writing has always been my foundation. Over the years, I’ve:

• Translated Russian short stories into Telugu

• Authored university-listed books, including Adhunika Journalism

• Written the Nandi Award-winning screenwriting book, first in Tollywood, Cinema Script Rachanashilpam

• Explored leadership and culture in works like KCR – The Art of Politics

Through writing, I transform experience into insight and connect deeply with readers and creators worldwide.

Cinema & Beyond

I have worked extensively in the Telugu film industry and have directed five feature films: 
Kala, Alaa, Welcome, Swimming Pool, and Erra Gulabi.

Each film has shaped my creative vision and strengthened my understanding of cinema as both an art form and a business.

I am now fully back in films and have launched a series of micro-budget Renegade feature films in Telugu. I welcome like-minded artists, technicians, and investors to join this journey — to build meaningful cinema, create value, and achieve commercial success together.

Spirituality & Creativity

I believe that spirituality and creativity can coexist harmoniously.

Embracing spirituality does not require stepping away from ambition or action.

I continue to make films, write, and create while building soulful global connections — integrating purpose, awareness, and presence into my work. This philosophy also shapes my mentorship, demonstrating that success, creativity, and inner alignment can grow together.

I’m building 100CR commercial cinema with independent control.
