We hold on to people, habits, and expectations long after they’ve stopped serving us. Not because they’re right—but because they’re familiar. And familiarity feels safe, even when it quietly drains us.
Peace doesn’t come from controlling everything. It comes from choosing what deserves your energy.
Not every conversation needs closure.
Not every relationship needs saving.
Not every path needs to be continued.
Some things and people are meant to be released so better things can find space.
When you let go of what weighs you down, you don’t lose—you create room. Room for growth, for calm, for better decisions, for a stronger version of yourself.
Protecting your peace is not selfish.
It’s necessary.
