The Rich Monk: A Fresh Start, Not a Full Stop

I recently did something simple—but big:

I renamed my blog from manoharchimmani.blog to richmonk.me.

Why? Because the journey is shifting.

Not ending—just deepening.

For years, it’s been all about films, writing, painting—pure creativity.

And I still love it. I still live for it.

But now, there’s another layer inside me that wants to breathe... Spirituality.

That doesn’t mean I’m leaving everything behind or heading off to a forest. Or the Himalayas.

Far from it. 

I’ll keep making movies.

Keep writing raw, honest stories.

Keep creating art.

But alongside that, I’ll also be exploring something quieter. More inward.

Call it stillness. Awareness. Or simply... the real work.

To me, spirituality isn’t about quitting the world.

It’s about showing up for it—fully, mindfully, soul-first.

That’s what 'The Rich Monk' is about.

Not a monk in the mountains.

A monk in the middle of life.

On set. At the desk. In the rush.

But rooted. Awake. Alive.

So yes, this blog now carries that spirit.

You’ll find posts on life, creativity, silence, madness, clarity—and everything in between.

No rules. No masks. Just honest reflections from where I stand.

And yep—I’ll be posting in 'English' too.

If you’re someone who loves the world but craves something deeper, maybe this space will feel like home.
