My days move between scripts, shots, characters, and dreams. It’s a wild, creative life — and I love every second of it.

But here’s what most people don’t see:

I’m spiritual too.

Not in the “sit on a mountain” way.

In the simple, everyday way.

In the way I breathe before I create, 

pause before I decide,

listen before I speak,

and trust before I act.

There are two ways to exist... 

One is to breathe.

One is to live.

Creativity helps me breathe.

Spirituality helps me live.

One gives me expression.

The other gives me direction.

One fills my mind with ideas.

The other fills my heart with peace.

Together, they create a life that feels whole — a life where I can chase cinema with fire in my eyes and still return to myself with silence in my soul.

This balance… this beautiful mix of creation and consciousness… is the real joy.

And this is the journey I’m on — making films, telling stories, and staying deeply connected to the inner world that keeps me alive from the inside out.

"గుజరాతీలో ఫలానా సినిమా 50 లక్షల్లో చేస్తే, 70 కోట్లు వచ్చింది!"

ఈ న్యూస్‌ని ఎంతమంది నాకు ఫార్వార్డ్ చేశారో చెప్పలేను. 

వాళ్ళ ఉద్దేశ్యం ఏంటంటే, తీస్తే సినిమా అలా తీయాలి అని. 

ఇంకొందరు ఓటీటీలో కొన్ని మలయాళం సినిమాలు చూసి లింక్ పంపిస్తుంటారు. వాళ్ళ ఉద్దేశ్యం కూడా అదే... సినిమా తీస్తే అలా మలయాళం సినిమాల్లా తీయాలి అని.  

కట్ చేస్తే -

పైన చెప్పిన లాంటి సినిమాలు తెలుగులో ఎందరో ఎన్నెన్నో తీశారు. ఒక్కడు థియేటర్‌కు వెళ్ళి సినిమా చూళ్ళేదు. అట్టర్ ఫ్లాప్ అయ్యాయి. ఒక్క పైసా రాలేదు. 

అతికొద్దిమంది రివ్యూయర్స్, మేధావులు మాత్రం సూపర్ అంటూ కితాబులిచ్చారు.  

నీతి ఏంటంటే... ఇలా నీతులు చెప్పేవాళ్ళెవ్వరూ సినిమాలు చేయలేరు. సినిమాలు చేసేవాళ్ళెవ్వరూ ఈ నీతుల్ని పట్టించుకోరు.

Every Journey, No Matter How Wild, Ends in Spirituality

Creativity and spirituality —
two themes I love more than anything else.

On the surface, they look like opposites.
But their soul… is the same.

Joy.

Why can’t a pulp-fiction writer have a deep spiritual vision?
Why can’t a commercial film director carry silence in his heart?
Why can’t an artist who meditates put up a wild, vibrant exhibition?
Why can’t a big businessman, busy in million-dollar deals, produce a spiritual film?

Anyone can do anything.
They can build, create, hustle, rise to any height they dream of.
But in the end, everyone arrives at the same destination:

Spirituality.

That shift is inevitable.

Alexander reached it.
Ashoka reached it.
Chalam reached it.
Mahesh Bhatt reached it.

History has proven this again and again.

And here’s the deeper truth:
When creativity and spirituality finally meet inside a person, that’s when real freedom and real joy become possible.

Spirituality doesn’t mean abandoning everything.
It shouldn’t.

ఇప్పటిదాకా ఏం సాధించాను?

26 నవంబర్.
రేపు నా పుట్టినరోజు. 

ఇంకో 36 రోజులైతే న్యూ ఇయర్ 2026 వస్తుంది. అసలిప్పటిదాకా, ఈ 11 నెలల్లో ఈ సంవత్సరం ఏం సాధించాను? 

2025 లోనే కాదు. అసలు మొత్తం నా జీవితంలో నేనేం సాధించాను? 

సంపూర్ణ అంతర్విశ్లేషణ చేసుకోవాల్సిన రోజు ఇది. 

ఇప్పుడదే చేస్తున్నాను. 

కట్ చేస్తే - 

ఇప్పటిదాకా కుటుంబం కోసం, పిల్లల కోసం ఆలోచించాను. కష్టపడ్డాను. ఇప్పుడు పూర్తిగా నాకోసం నేను ఆలోచిస్తున్నాను. నాకోసం నేను పనిచేస్తున్నాను. 

జీవితం ఒక్కటే. 

ఇప్పుడు దాన్ని సంపూర్ణంగా జీవించడానికి కమిట్ అయ్యాను.  

నా జీవితం నేను జీవిస్తున్నాను. 

బిగ్ మనీ రొటేషన్ కోసం నా సినిమా ప్రొఫెషన్ ఒక టూల్ మాత్రమే. రైటింగ్ మాత్రం నా ఫస్ట్ ప్యాషన్. ఈ రెండిటికీ 50-50 సమయం కెటాయిస్తున్నాను. 

ఇదే సమయంలో - నాకెంతో ఇష్టమైన స్పిరిచువాలిటీ దిశగా కూడా ఇప్పుడు నా ప్రయాణం కొనసాగుతోంది.     

For a true creative, there is no personal life or professional life — only one continuous creative life where work is joy and joy becomes work. And within that flow, I’m also walking my deepest path — my passion for Spirituality.

అలా కనిపించాల్సిన అవసరం లేదు...

చాలా గ్యాప్ తర్వాత ఇవ్వాళ నాకు కాల్ చేసిన ఒక ఫ్రెండ్ అంటాడు, "నువ్వెప్పుడూ కూల్‌గా, కామ్‌గా ఉంటావు. అసలు రిస్కులు తీసుకోవు, టెన్షన్స్ పెట్టుకోవు" అని.

నిజానికి, నాకు తెలిసిన మా ఫ్రెండ్స్ అందరిలోనూ రిస్కులు తీసుకునేది నేనొక్కన్నే.

నేను తీసుకున్నంత రేంజ్‌లో ఏ ఒక్కరూ-ఐ రిపీట్-ఏ ఒక్కరు కూడా రిస్కులు తీసుకోలేదు. తీసుకోలేరు. 

ఇది గొప్ప విషయంగా నేను చెప్పుకోవటం లేదు. అలా జరిగింది. అంతే. 

సో, సహజంగానే... టెన్షన్స్ నాకే ఎక్కువ. 

కాని, అలా కనిపించాల్సిన అవసరం లేదు అని నేననుకుంటాను. అలా ఉంటాను. 

Tension is the mind’s noise. Choose calm, choose clarity, and keep walking. Life opens for the quiet soul.

Every coin has two sides. And when it comes to creativity, the flip side is spirituality.

We often think of creativity as an outward act — making, expressing, shaping something new. But look closer. Creativity is just another pathway inward. The same energy that drives us to paint, write, compose, direct, or build… also pulls us toward silence, stillness, and meaning.

Both creativity and spirituality lead us to the same destination: happiness, mental peace, anandam. One through expression, the other through introspection.

This is why every truly creative person, at some point, begins to love the quiet pull of spirituality. Not as an escape, but as a recharge. Not as a rulebook, but as a return to the source.

In the end, creativity takes us out into the world —

and spirituality brings us back home.

ఫస్ట్రేషన్లో పొరపాట్లు జరుగుతాయి. కాని...

ఒకవైపు అన్ని వేల మంది ముందు ప్రత్యక్షంగా, మరోవైపు కోట్ల మంది ప్రేక్షకులు ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా లైవ్ చూస్తున్నారని తెలిసీ... ఫస్ట్రేషన్లో మరీ అంత కంట్రోల్ తప్పి, అంత కేర్‌లెస్‌గా రాజమౌళి మాట్లాడ్డం నిజంగా ఊహించనిది.

ఫస్ట్రేషన్లో పొరపాట్లు జరుగుతాయి. అది సెన్సిటివ్ విషయాల మీద అయినప్పుడు సింపుల్‌గా ఒక క్షమాపణ చెప్పేస్తే పోయేదేం లేదు. రాజమౌళి కూడా మామూలు మనిషే కాబట్టి, మామూలుగా ఒక చిన్న "చింతిస్తున్నాను" మెసేజ్ పెడితే అయిపోతుంది కదా?!  

కట్ చేస్తే - 

రాజమౌళి "నాస్తికుడు" కావడం అతని ఇష్టం. దానికి ఎవ్వరి అభ్యంతరం ఉండదు, ఉండకూడదు. దీనికోసం పక్కనెవరో ఇంకో డైరెక్టర్ రాజ్యాంగంలోని ఆర్టికిల్ నంబర్ చెప్తూ డబ్బా కొట్టాల్సిన అవసరం లేదు.     

కాని, క్షమాపణ చెప్పడానికి ఇంత ఈగో ఫీలయ్యే "దేవుళ్ళ మీద నమ్మకంలేని నాస్తిక" రాజమౌళి... అదే దేవుళ్ళ ప్రస్తావన, కథ, పాత్రలు లేని సినిమాలు చేసుకోవాలి.   

బాహుబలిలో శివలింగం ప్లేస్‌లో ఇంకోటి ఏదైనా పెట్టుకోవాల్సి ఉండే. ఇప్పుడు వారణాసి టైటిల్, అందులో రాముని పాత్ర, హనుమంతుడు... ఇవన్నీ వాడుకొంటూ నాస్తికుడు దేవుళ్ళతో బిజినెస్ చేసుకోవచ్చా? అక్కడ ఈగో అడ్డు రాదా? 

ఆస్తిక ప్రస్తావన లేకుండా నాస్తికుడు సబ్జెక్టులు తయారుచేసుకోలేడా?  

అది చాతకాకపోతే అలాగే చేసుకొని బ్రతకొచ్చు.

కాని, "మీ హనుమంతుడు ఏం చేశాడు" అని అంతమంది ముందు సొంత తండ్రి, సొంత భార్య నమ్మకాల్ని అలా ఎగతాళి చెయ్యటం ఏం బాగుంది?

ఇది అసూయ కాదు. హాలీవుడ్ స్థాయిలో అంత భారీ సినిమా చేస్తూ, ఒక చిన్న స్లిప్ ఆఫ్ ద టంగ్ పొరపాటుని పెద్ద సమస్య చేసుకోకపోతే బాగుంటుందని. అంతే.

నిజమైన ఫ్రెండ్స్ అయితే నాలా "ఒక సారీ చెప్పెయ్, అయిపోతుంది" అని సలహా ఇస్తారు. ఇంకా దీన్ని సాగదీయరు.        

హాలీవుడ్ స్థాయి సినిమాల్ని తీయటం మంచిదే. కానీ...

ఈ డిజిటల్-ఏఐ-జెన్‌జీ-సోషల్‌మీడియా సునామీ యుగంలో - ప్రిరిలీజ్ లాంటి పరస్పరం డప్పులు కొట్టుకొనే రొటీన్ బోరింగ్ టైప్ ప్రమోషన్లు లేకుండా సినిమాకు హైప్ తీసుకురాలేమా? బిజినెస్ చెయ్యలేమా? రిలీజ్ చెయ్యలేమా? 

ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా వందల మిలియన్ల డాలర్ల బిజినెస్ చేసుకునే ఒక్క హాలీవుడ్ సినిమాకు కూడా ఇప్పటివరకు ఇలాంటి ప్రమోషన్లు లేవు. 

సినిమా గురించి ట్రేడ్ ఎనౌన్స్‌మెంట్, స్టూడియో ప్రెస్ రిలీజ్, ఫైనల్ కాస్ట్ రివీల్, షార్ట్ వీడియో స్నిప్పెట్స్, బిహైండ్ ద సీన్ ఫోటోలు, ఫెస్టివల్స్‌లో ప్రీమియర్స్, బ్రాండ్ టై-అప్స్, మ్యాగజైన్ కవర్స్, ఆర్టికిల్స్, ఫ్యాన్ స్క్రీనింగ్స్, క్రిటిక్స్ స్క్రీనింగ్స్, ఇన్‌ఫ్లుయెన్సర్ స్క్రీనింగ్స్, నాలుగైదు షోల్లో ఇంటర్వ్యూలు, ప్రెస్‌ నోట్స్, రిలీజ్ న్యూస్, స్టాండర్డ్‌గా ఒక్క పోస్టర్, ఒక్క అఫీషియల్ ట్రయలర్. అంతే. 

అదీ హాలీవుడ్ సినిమా ప్రమోషన్, మార్కెటింగ్. 

ప్రమోషన్ బడ్జెట్ ఉంటుంది. అంతా డిజిటలైజ్డ్ ప్రమోషనే తప్ప, ఎక్కడా వేలాదిమందిని ప్రత్యక్షంగా ఇన్వాల్వ్ చేసే కార్యక్రమాలుండవు. 

ఒక్కసారి ఏదైనా జరగరానిది జరిగితే, ప్రమాదం తీవ్రస్థాయిలో ఉంటుంది. ఎవ్వరూ దేన్నీ కంట్రోల్ చెయ్యలేరు. 

హాలీవుడ్ స్థాయి సినిమాల్ని తీయటం మంచిదే. ప్రమోషన్ విషయంలో కూడా హాలీవుడ్ స్థాయికి మనం ఎందుకు వెనకబడి ఉండాలి?   

కట్ చేస్తే -

మనదగ్గర ఒక్క టైటిల్ ఎనౌన్స్‌మెంట్‌కే 30 కోట్ల ఖర్చు. ప్రత్యక్షంగా వేలాది మంది ఫ్యాన్స్‌తో ఈవెంట్లు. 

ఇంక రిలీజ్ వరకు ఎన్ని ఈవెంట్స్ ఉంటాయో, ఎంత ఖర్చవుతుందో ఊహించవచ్చు. 

ఈ ఖర్చుతోనే ఇంకో భారీ బడ్జెట్ సినిమా ఈజీగా తీయొచ్చు.

ఇలాంటి భారీ మార్కెటింగ్ జిమ్మిక్స్‌తో భారీగా బిజినెస్ చెయ్యొచ్చు, భారీగా లాభాలు పొందొచ్చు. భారీగా రెమ్యూనరేషన్స్ పెంచుకోవచ్చు. వీటన్నిటి అంతిమ లక్ష్యం అదే కాబట్టి తప్పేం లేదు. 

కాని, తిరిగి తిరిగి ఈ ఖర్చు భారం సామాన్య ప్రేక్షకుడిపైన పడకూడదు. కాని, తప్పక పడుతుంది. ఏ సగటు ప్రేక్షకులవల్ల అయితే టికెట్స్ తెగుతాయో, ఆ ప్రేక్షకులే క్రమంగా  సినిమాకు దూరమవుతారు. లేదా, పక్కదారులు వెతుక్కుంటారు.    

ఇప్పుడు జరుగుతోంది అదే.

పంచాక్షరమిదమ్ పుణ్యమ్

ప్రదీప్‌చంద్ర నాలాగే పది పడవల మీద కాళ్ళుపెట్టాడు. ఎక్కడా సెట్ అవ్వలేదు. 

ఒకదానికొకటి సంబంధం లేని రెండు పోస్ట్ గ్రాడ్యుయేషన్స్, మంచి సాఫ్ట్‌వేర్ ఉద్యోగం, సంగీతంలో కూడా పీజీ... ఏదీ అతన్ని కుదురుగా ఒక పనికొచ్చే మైండ్‌సెట్‌కు సెట్ చేసి, స్థిరంగా ముందుకు నడిచేలా చెయ్యలేకపోయాయి. 

సినిమా భాషలో చెప్పాలంటే, "మైండ్ దొబ్బింది."  

అసలెందుకు మొదలెట్టాడో అర్థమైంది. ఇప్పుడు మళ్ళీ కీబోర్డు ముందు కూర్చున్నాడు. 

ఫిలిం మ్యూజిక్ కంపోజింగ్ ఒక్కటే కాదు. ఫోక్, డివోషనల్, ప్రయివేట్ రొమాంటిక్ ఆల్బమ్స్, ర్యాప్... ఇప్పుడు అన్నీ కంపోజ్ చేస్తున్నాడు ప్రదీప్.

కొత్త సింగర్స్‌ను కూడా పరిచయం చేస్తున్నాడు.

ఇప్పుడు హాట్ హాట్‌గా ఒక అయిదు పాటల కొత్త ప్రయివేట్ ఆల్బం చేస్తున్నాడు ప్రదీప్. సోలో ఫిమేల్ వాయిస్ అనుకుంటాను. 

ఆల్బంకి ముందు, మళ్ళీ మ్యూజిక్ మూడ్ లోకి రావడానికి ఓ రెండు భక్తి పాటలు చేశాడు. అందులో ఒకటి నా యూట్యూబ్ చానెల్ నుంచి మొన్ననే అప్లోడ్ చేశాం.

మంచి సూదింగ్ కంపోజింగ్. సంతోష్ సాగర్ చేత పాడించాడు.    

ఈ శివ పంచాక్షరి మంత్రం 51,000 వ్యూస్ హిట్ చేసిన సందర్భంగా ప్రదీప్‌కి కంగ్రాట్స్.

పోస్ట్-ప్రొడక్షన్లో ఉన్న నా రోడ్ క్రైమ్ డ్రామా "ఎర్ర గులాబి" సినిమాలో కూడా ఒక ఐటమ్ నంబర్, బ్యాగ్రౌండ్ స్కోర్ ప్రదీపే చేస్తున్నాడు.

నా రొమాంటిక్ హారర్ సినిమా "స్విమ్మింగ్ పూల్" ద్వారా ఇండస్ట్రీకి పరిచయమైన ప్రదీప్‌చంద్ర, ఇప్పుడు నేను చేయబోతున్న కొత్త సినిమాకి పనిచేస్తున్నాడు. మ్యూజిక్ సిట్టింగ్స్ ఈసారి ముంబై అనుకుంటున్నాడు. 

ప్రదీప్ పూర్తి ఫోకస్ ఇప్పుడు పూర్తిగా మ్యూజిక్ పైనే ఉంది. అతను అనుకున్నది ఇప్పుడు సాధిస్తాడు.

ఫాస్ట్ ట్రాక్‌లో సినిమాల్లోకి ప్రవేశించడం ఎలా?

దాదాపు ఒక పదేళ్ళ క్రితం, ఒక ఫిలిం ఇన్‌స్టిట్యూట్లో "ఫిలిం డైరెక్షన్" కోర్సు 27 లక్షలు. ఇప్పుడది 30, 40 లక్షల దాకా వెళ్ళుంటుంది. ముంబైలో అయితే 1 కోటి, 2 కోట్ల ఫీజుతో యాక్టింగ్, డైరెక్షన్ నేర్పించే ఫిలిం ఇన్‌స్టిట్యూట్స్ ఉన్నాయని మీకు తెలుసా? 

ఏదో ఉత్సాహంతో నేర్చుకుంటారు, సర్టిఫికేట్ వచ్చేస్తుంది. కాని, ఆ సర్టిఫికేట్‌తో ఫిలిం ఛాన్స్ వస్తుందా? 

మళ్ళీ రొటీన్‌గా ఒక 5 నుంచి 10 ఏళ్ళు పడుతుంది. మీ కృషి ఫలించి మీకు ఛాన్స్ దొరకొచ్చు, దొరక్కపోవచ్చు. 

ఎన్నో లక్షలు, ఎంతో సమయం వృధా. 

నేను ఫిలిం కోచింగ్‌కు, ఫిలిం ఇన్‌స్టిట్యూట్స్‌కు వ్యతిరేకం కాదు. కాని, మారిన కండిషన్స్‌లో ఇప్పుడు మనం ఏదైనా ఫ్రీగా ఆన్‌లైన్లో నేర్చుకోవచ్చు. కాని, సినిమాల్లో అవకాశం సంపాదించుకోవడం మాత్రం అంత ఈజీ కాదు అని చెప్పడమే నా ఉద్దేశ్యం.

ఇప్పుడు రియాలిటీ కూడా అదే.

రొటీన్ అన్న పదమే ఇప్పుడు అవుట్ డేటెడ్.

కొత్త తెలుగు హీరోయిన్స్‌కు ఇప్పుడు మంచి డిమాండ్!

ఒకప్పటిలా కాకుండా ఇప్పుడు తెలుగు సినిమాల్లో కొత్త తెలుగు హీరోయిన్స్‌కు పిచ్చి డిమాండ్ ఉంది. 

ముంబై హీరోయిన్స్‌లా జీరో సైజ్, లుక్, హై ప్రొఫైల్ కల్చర్, కలర్ వంటివి ఇప్పుడెవరూ పెద్దగా పట్టించుకోవటం లేదు.

చలాకీగా, డైనమిక్‌గా ఉన్నారా, తెలుగు డైలాగ్ డెలివరీ బాగుందా, ఎక్స్‌ప్రెషన్ బాగుందా... అవకాశం వచ్చినట్టే.

కాజల్ అగర్వాల్, అనుష్క శెట్టి, నిత్య మీనన్, పూజ హెగ్డే, కీర్తి సురేష్, అనుపమ పరమేశ్వరన్, తమన్నా, రాశి ఖన్నా, రకుల్ ప్రీత్ సింగ్, రష్మిక మందన్నా... ఒక ఉదాహరణగా నేను చెప్తున్న వీళ్ళంతా తెలుగు హీరోయిన్స్ కారు.

జూబ్లీహిల్స్ బీఆర్‌యస్‌దే !!

ఫస్ట్రేషన్లో అరిచే అరుపులకు, తిట్టే తిట్లకు ప్రజలు ప్రభావితం కారు. ఓట్లు పడవు. 

ఇది డిజిటల్ యుగం. 

ఎవరైనా పొరపాటు ఒక్కసారే చేస్తారు. పొరపాటు జరిగింది అని తెలిశాక, దాన్ని సరిదిద్దుకొనే అవకాశం కోసం చూస్తారు. ఇప్పుడు నాలుగు కోట్ల తెలంగాణ ప్రజలకు అలాంటి అవకాశం వచ్చింది. జూబ్లీహిల్స్ నియోజకవర్గంలోని నాలుగు లక్షల వోటర్లు ఈ అవకాశాన్ని ఈరోజు ఆయుధంగా వాడుకోబోతున్నారు.  

నవంబర్ 14 నాడు ప్రపంచానికి ఒక నిజాన్ని చాలా స్పష్టంగా తెలియజేయబోతున్నారు... 

అజ్ఞానం, అసమర్థతలతో నిండిన రాజకీయం వేరు, రాష్ట్రాభివృద్ధి కోసం అహరహం శ్రమించే సంకల్పం ఉన్న రాజకీయం వేరు అని.

  

తెలంగాణ ప్రజలకు ఇప్పుడు రాష్ట్రాభివృద్ధి కావాలి. ప్రస్తుత ప్రభుత్వం రాకముందు గత పదేళ్లలో అభివృద్ధి అంటే ఎలా ఉంటుందో కళ్ళారా చూశారు తెలంగాణ ప్రజలు. అంతకు ముందు అరవయ్యేళ్లపాటు ఉమ్మడి రాష్ట్రం నేపథ్యంగా, తెలంగాణ ప్రాంతంలో జరిగిన విధ్వంసం చూశారు. అసలు ఈ ప్రాంత అభివృద్ధినే ఎగతాళి చేసిన అహంకారాన్ని చూశారు. 

ఇప్పుడు తెలంగాణ ప్రజలకు ఎవరు ఏంటి అన్నది వివరించి చెప్పాల్సిన అవసరం లేదు.   

తెలంగాణ సాధకుడు, తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్ర తొలి ముఖ్యమంత్రి కేసీఆర్ ఒక ఉద్యమశక్తిగా ఏం సాధించగలడో చూశాం. ఒక కొత్త రాష్ట్ర సారథిగా రాష్ట్రాన్ని అనేక రంగాల్లో దేశంలోనే నెంబర్ వన్ రాష్ట్రంగా ఎలా తీర్చిదిద్దగలిగాడో చూశాం. అంతా బాగుంది అనుకుంటున్న సమయంలో, పదేళ్ళ తర్వాత మళ్ళీ శత్రుగణం అంతా అంతర్గతంగా ఒక్కటయి, "మార్పు" అనే మాయతో, వందల అబద్ధాలతో తెలంగాణ ప్రజలను మభ్యపెట్టి రాష్ట్రంలో ప్రభుత్వాన్ని మార్చగలిగారు.  

రాజకీయాల్లో మార్పు సహజం. కాని, ఆ మార్పు మంచి కోసం జరగాలి. ఇచ్చిన హామీలను నెరవేర్చాలి. కాని, గత రెండేళ్ళలో అలా జరగలేదు. మిగిలిన మూడేళ్లలో కూడా ఏదో జరుగుతుందన్న 'గ్యారంటీ' లేదు. జరిగేది ఒక్కటే - ఎప్పటికప్పుడుప్రజల్ని పక్కదారి పట్టించేలా - తెల్లారిలేస్తే కేసీఆర్‌ను, కేటీఆర్‌ను, బీఆర్‌యస్‌ను ఆడిపోసుకోవడం, జుగుప్సాకరమైన భాషలో తిట్టడం. 

కాని, ఈ జూబ్లీహిల్స్ అసెంబ్లీ బై-ఎలక్షన్ ఫలితాలు దీనికి ఫుల్‌స్టాప్ పెట్టబోతున్నాయి. ఇంకో మూడేళ్ళ తర్వాతయినా తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్ర ప్రజల సంక్షేమం కోసం, రాష్ట్ర అభివృద్ధి తిరిగి పట్టాలెక్కడం కోసం, ఈ ఫలితాలు బీఆర్‌యస్‌కు అనుకూలంగా రావడం అత్యవసరం.            

కట్ చేస్తే - 

రాజకీయాలు రాజకీయాలే. తెలిసో తెలియకో అంతకుముందు జరిగిన చిన్న చిన్న పొరపాట్లను ఒక్కొక్కటిగా సరిదిద్దుకొంటూ, పక్కా స్ట్రాటెజిక్ ప్రణాళికతో, కేసీఆర్ మార్గదర్శకత్వంలో బీఆర్‌యస్ పార్టీ వర్కింగ్ ప్రసిడెంట్ కేటీఆర్ చేస్తున్న నిర్విరామ కృషి కళ్ళముందు స్పష్టంగా కనిపిస్తోంది. 

ఈ జూబ్లీహిల్స్ ఉప ఎన్నిక నేపథ్యంలో కేటీఆర్ పరిచయం చేసిన ఆధునిక ఆడియో-విజువల్ ఎన్నికల ప్రచార సరళి నిజంగా రాష్ట్రంలోనే కాదు, దేశంలోనే ఒక గొప్ప ప్రారంభానికి సూచన.  

తెలగాణ రాష్ట్రం కోసం, ప్రజల కోసం ఎవరు ఏం చేశారు అన్నది అంకెల్లో, గ్రాఫిక్స్ రూపంలో ఖచ్చితమైన ఆధారాలు, రిపోర్టులతో చూపించడం ద్వారా ప్రజలే అన్నీ తెలుసుకుంటారు. పచ్చి అబద్ధాలతో, వినడానికే సిగ్గనిపించే అపభ్రంశ భాషతో ఎవరు ఎంత ఊదరగొట్టినా, ఎంత గోబెల్స్ ప్రచారం చేసినా గుడ్డిగా నమ్మి మోసపోవటం అనేది ఇకమీదట జరగదు. 

ఈ విషయంలో ఎన్నికల్లో డిజిటల్ ప్రచారానికి తెరలేపిన కేటీఆర్‌ను అభినందించాల్సిందే. 

ఈ నేపథ్యంలో - తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రాన్ని చాలా విషయాల్లో ఒక అగ్రశ్రేణి రాష్ట్రంగా అభివృద్ధిపథంలో నడిపిన కేసీఆర్ సారథ్యంలోని బీఆర్‌యస్ ఒక వైపు కాగా, అరవై ఏళ్ళపాటు తెలంగాణను ఒక వెనుకబడిన ప్రాంతంగానే నిలిపి, ఈ ప్రాంతానికి ఏమీ చేయకపోగా, మళ్ళీ గత రెండేళ్ళుగా అదే అసమర్థతను కొనసాగిస్తున్న కాంగ్రెస్ ఇంకోవైపు.  

జూబ్లీహిల్స్ లోని వోటర్లకు రావల్సినంత స్పష్టత వచ్చేసింది. రాజకీయంగా, సంక్షేమం పరంగా, అభివృద్ధిపరంగా బీఆర్‌యస్ ఏం చేయగలదు, కాంగ్రెస్ ఏం చేయగలదు అన్నది కూడా వారికి తెలుసు. 

గత ఎన్నికల్లో లాగా ఈసారి ఎలాంటి పొరపాటు జరగదు. 

జూబ్లీహిల్స్ ఇంతకుముందు కూడా బీఆర్‌యస్‌దే, ఇప్పుడు కూడా బీఆర్‌యస్‌దే అని జూబ్లీహిల్స్ వోటర్లు ఇప్పుడు తీర్పుచెప్పబోతున్నారు.

క్లాస్‌రూముల్లో కూర్చుని నేర్చుకునే రోజులు కావివి. మీరు అలా నేర్చుకున్నది, అర్థం చేసుకొని, ఆచరణలో పెట్టే లోగా, మినిమమ్ ఇంకో డజన్ కొత్త ఆవిష్కరణలు ఫిలిమ్మేకింగ్‌లో వస్తున్నాయి.

క్రియేటివిటీ వేరు, అవకాశవాదం వేరు

అంతా ఎఫ్ అండ్ ఎఫ్ టైపే. 

అంటే, వాడుకొని వదిలెయ్యడం అన్నమాట.

మనతో పని ఉన్నంత సేపు ఆ మాటలు వేరు, ఆ ప్రవర్తన వేరు. అసలింత మంచి ఆణిముత్యాలు ఉంటారా అన్నంత ఆశ్చర్యం వేసేలా! 

కొందరి విషయంలో అలా కాదు అనుకున్నా. ఎంతో గౌరవం, స్థాయి ఇచ్చాను. కాని, మన నమ్మకం తప్పు అని తెలిసినప్పుడు మనం ఎంత ఫూల్ అయ్యమో అర్థమవుతుంది. 

వీళ్ల కోసం అనవసరంగా మన స్థాయి తగ్గించుకొని సపోర్ట్ ఇవ్వడం, సమయాన్ని వెచ్చించడం అంత క్రిమినల్ వేస్ట్ ఆఫ్ టైమ్ ఇంకోటి లేదు.

ఎవ్వరికీ ఏదీ ఫ్రీగా చెయ్యాల్సిన అవసరం లేదు. ముఖ్యంగా ఇలాంటివాళ్ళ కోసం అయితే ఒక్క నిమిషం కూడా వేస్ట్ చేసుకోవాల్సిన అవసరం అంతకన్నా లేదు.

"క్వీన్ ఆఫ్ రొమాన్స్"... బార్బరా కార్ట్‌లాండ్

అందరికీ ఉండేది 24 గంటలే కదా అంటారు. అంతవరకు కరెక్టే కాని, అందరి 24 గంటలు ఒకటే కాదు. 

మనకున్న 24 గంటల్లో మనం ఏమీ చేయం. ఏం చేయాలా అని ఆలోచిస్తుంటాం. అసలు ఏదైనా ఎందుకని చెయాలి అని అనుకుంటాం.

లేదంటే - "అంతా అయిపోయింది, ఇప్పుడేం చేస్తాంలే" అని మనకి మనం సర్దిచెప్పుకుంటాం. సమర్థించుకుంటాం. 

95 శాతం మంది విషయంలో జరిగేది ఇదే. ఒక్క 5 శాతం మంది మాత్రమే తమకున్న 24 గంటల్ని నిజంగా సద్వినియోగం చేసుకుంటారు.

థాంక్స్ టు జేమ్స్ ఆల్టుచర్. అతని "రీఇన్వెంట్ యువర్‌సెల్ఫ్" పుస్తకం ద్వారా బార్బరా కార్ట్‌లాండ్ గురించి మొదటిసారిగా తెలుసుకున్నాను.

1901 లో పుట్టిన ఈ బ్రిటిష్ నావెలిస్ట్ జీవితం నిండా రికార్డులే రికార్డులు... 

బార్బరా కార్ట్‌లాండ్ తన జీవిత కాలంలో మొత్తం 723 నవలలు రాసింది. అన్నీ పబ్లిష్ అయ్యాయి.

1976 లో, ఆ ఒక్క సంవత్సరంలోనే పబ్లిష్ అయిన బార్బరా నవలల సంఖ్య 23. అంటే నెలకి 2 నవలలు ఆమె రాసింది. 

అప్పుడు బార్బరా వయస్సు 82. 

బార్బరా తన చివరి నవల తన 97 వ ఏట రాసింది. 98 లో చనిపోయింది. 

ఆమె చనిపోయేనాటికి ఇంకో 160 నవలలు పబ్లిష్ కావడానికి ఇంకా పెండింగ్‌లో ఉన్నాయి. వాటిని కూడా మొన్న 2018 వరకు పబ్లిష్ చెయ్యటం పూర్తిచేశారు.   

అందుబాటులో ఉన్న రికార్డుల ప్రకారం బార్బరా నవలలు సుమారు 750 మిలియన్ల కాపీలు సేలయ్యాయి.

అంటే - సుమారు 75 కోట్ల కాపీలు! 

ఇంకొక అంచనా ప్రకారం బార్బరా నవలలు దాదాపు 2 బిలియన్ల కాపీలు సేలయ్యాయి. అంటే సుమారు 200 కోట్ల కాపీలు సేలయ్యాయన్నమాట!! 

బార్బరా రచయిత్రి మాత్రమే కాదు, బిజినెస్ వుమన్ కూడా. "కార్ట్‌లాండ్ ప్రమోషన్స్" పేరుతో బిజినెస్ కూడా చేసింది బార్బరా. 

రచనలు చేస్తూనే పొలిటీషియన్‌గా (కన్సర్వేటివ్ పార్టీ కౌన్సిలర్) 9 సంవత్సరాలు పనిచేసింది.

సంగీతంలో కూడా ప్రేమ గీతాలతో ఒక 'ఈపీ' రికార్డ్ చేసింది బార్బరా.  

బార్బరా కార్ట్‌లాండ్ జీవితం మీద "ఇన్ లవ్ విత్ బార్బరా" అని ఒక డాక్యుమెంటరీ కూడా చేసింది బీబీసీ. 

కట్ చేస్తే - 

బార్బరా రాసినవన్నీ రొమాంటిక్ నవలలే. మన యద్ధనపూడి సులోచనా రాణి లాగా అన్నమాట. 

ఎంత రొటీన్ ప్రేమనవలలైనా, ఒక స్టాండర్డ్ లేకుండా, చదివించే గుణం లేకుండా పబ్లిష్ అవ్వవు కదా? అంతలా సేల్ కావు కదా?

ఇక్కడ మనం గుర్తించాల్సిన పాయింట్ ఒకటి ఏంటంటే - బార్బరా రాసిన 723+160 నవలల్లో ఎంత రొటీన్ ప్రేమికులున్నా... వారికి ప్రతి నవలలోనూ ఒక కొత్త సమస్య క్రియేట్ చెయ్యాలి. పాఠకుల్ని ఒప్పించాలి. 

అదే క్రియేటివిటీ. 

ఆ విషయంలో బార్బరా సక్సెస్ అయ్యింది కాబట్టే అన్ని నవలలు రాయగలిగింది. 

మనమున్నాం ఎందుకు?

అందరం నవలలు రాయాలనే కాదు. 

కాని, ఒక రోజులో మనకున్న 24 గంటల్ని ఎంతవరకు మనం సద్వినియోగం చేసుకుంటున్నాం... మనకున్న ఒకే ఒక్క జీవితాన్ని ఎంత బాగా అనుభవిస్తున్నాం అన్నది... నిజంగా మిలియన్ డాలర్ కొశ్చన్!

Why I Started “My Selective Memory”

Every story begins somewhere.

Mine begins with fragments — scenes that stayed, faces that faded, and a few crossroads that changed everything.

For years, I’ve lived inside stories — writing them, directing them, and sometimes, getting lost in them. Cinema taught me to look deeper into people, moments, and emotions. But what it didn’t teach me was how to pause… how to remember.

That’s what this blog is about.

Selective Memory 

We all remember selectively.

We keep what moved us,
and we edit out the rest.

In a way, life itself is a rough cut — full of retakes, missing reels, and a few perfect shots that make it all worthwhile.

This blog is my version of that rough cut.

Not a diary.
Not a highlight reel.
But a real reel. 

From Ursu to Ohio 

The journey has been wild — from the quiet corners of my university adda to the chaos of film sets and the calm of creative solitude.

It goes way back — to my childhood days, my time working as a machinist in a big factory, the decision to return to studies, my university years, my stint at a central government school, my radio days, and my long, passionate writing journey.

And then came the great leap — the world of cinema.
Along the way, I met incredible friends, faced my share of foes, found mentors who shaped me, and learned lessons that only time and struggle can teach.

Through these posts, I’ll share pieces of that journey — the wins, the wounds, and the wisdom — one frame at a time.

Why Now? 

Because we’re all living too fast, scrolling too quick, and forgetting too much.

And somewhere, I realized: memory is not just what we keep… it’s what we choose to keep alive.

Every masterpiece begins with a phase of pure focus.

For the next six months, my world narrows down to one thing — cinema.

Every thought, every plan, every ounce of energy will orbit around it.

It’s not about distractions anymore. It’s about discipline. 

No vague dreams. Just precise, time-bound goals — written, tracked, and executed.

Because this is the phase where I build muscle — creative, emotional, and professional.

The grind, the sleepless nights, the rewrites, the learning — all of it is part of the film.

Six months from now, I’ll look back and know this was the time when everything began to shift.

When intention met action. 

When cinema stopped being a dream —
and became my direction.

ఫిలిం ఇండస్ట్రీకి కావల్సింది టాలెంట్ ఒక్కటే కాదు...

ఫిలిం ఇండస్ట్రీ ఒక గోల్డ్ మైన్. కాని, దాని సిస్టమ్ దానిది.

ఆ సిస్టమ్‌లో ఇమడగలిగినవారే ఇక్కడ పనికొస్తారు. గోల్డ్ మైన్ లోంచి ఎంతో కొంత తమ వాటా తీసుకోగలుగుతారు.   

అయితే, ఇక్కడ టాలెంట్ ఒక్కటే కాదు పనిచేసేది. దాన్ని మించి పనిచేసేవి చాలా ఉంటాయి.

వాటిల్లో ముఖ్యమైనవి ఒక మూడున్నాయి:

> లాబీయింగ్.

> మనీ.

> మానిప్యులేషన్స్.

ఈ మూడింటిలో - కనీసం ఏ రెండిట్లో అయినా ఎక్స్‌పర్ట్ అయినవారు మాత్రమే ఇక్కడ ఎగ్జిస్ట్ కాగలుగుతారు. అనుకున్నది సాధిస్తారు. 

ఇప్పుడు మిమ్మల్ని మీరు చెక్ చేసుకోండి.

ఏ రెండిట్లో మీరు ఎక్స్‌పర్ట్?

Think for Yourself, Not of Yourself. Think of Others, Not for Others.

There’s a thin line between confidence and arrogance. Between caring and controlling. Between individuality and isolation.

And this line — this balance — is where real wisdom lives.

Most people either go all-in on themselves or lose themselves trying to please others.

But life isn’t meant to be lived at either extreme.

When you think for yourself, you take ownership of your mind. You stop outsourcing your decisions to society, trends, or approval. You start standing firm on what feels right for you.

But the moment you start thinking of yourself, you slide into self-obsession. You start believing your world is the only one that matters — and that’s where you lose the essence of being human.

Now, flip the frame.

When you think of others, you connect with the world. You start noticing struggles, dreams, and emotions that aren’t your own — and that’s where empathy is born.

But when you start thinking for others, you cross the line. You assume you know what’s best for them. You take their script and rewrite it in your language. And no matter how noble that feels, it takes away their power to choose.

So maybe the secret to a beautiful life isn’t about becoming too selfless or too self-centered. 

It’s about mastering the balance.

Being strong enough to think for yourself —

and kind enough to think of others.

Final Thought...

The real art of living is to stay independent without becoming indifferent, and compassionate without becoming controlling.

I Want to Be the Real Me

No filters. No masks. Just me.

Somewhere between expectations and appearances, we lose the raw version of who we are.

We start editing ourselves — for approval, for comfort, for peace.

And in that process, the real you gets quieter.

But the truth is — you can’t inspire the world by pretending.

You do it by being unapologetically you.

Flawed, learning, evolving, but real.

Because the moment you stop performing for the world, you start living for yourself.
